Mybac-Vettech Laboratoriet AB is a recognized veterinary laboratory in bacteriology and mycology with long experience and high quality. The company was founded in 1984 and is since 2007 accredited by Swedac accordance with ISO / IEC 17025.
We have operations located in Hägersten, Stockholm. From here we perform microbiological analyzes on samples submitted by customers from all over the country.
In Mybac-Vettech laboratory's quality assurance program has SWEDAC accreditation been received for bacteriological tests and susceptibility testing with the MIC value (Resistance testing with microdilution / VetMIC, according to SVA, National Veterinary Medical Institute, Uppsala, Sweden). This is an important base for the clinical safety.
The basis for a successful fight against infections based on a diagnostics performed in laboratories with expertise and well-proven methods of analysis. To sustain this also requires sufficiently large sample volumes.

The newly introduced and increased the quality of the laboratories has resulted in the implementation of validation and accreditation programs for the current analyzes. The laboratory is therefore connected to a so-called internal calibration system at CVL (Central Veterinary laboratory) in England. In clinical bacteriology, this is especially important in resistance surveys.

We are a wholly owned affiliate of Nordvacc Läkemedel AB, which today is a subsidiary to Intervacc AB which is the parent company of the Group. Nordvacc have besides the headquarters in Stockholm also branches in Denmark, Finland, Lithuania and Latvia. Intervacc develops new vaccines based on recombinant proteins. The company has after many years of research almost finalized the development of a safe and efficacious vaccine Strangvac® against the highly contagious disease strangles in horses caused by Streptococcus equi. |
